Hauck's clinical experience includes working with children and families. She has worked in many settings including a psychiatric hospital, community mental health, private practice, and school-based health centers. Kayla has worked with many different types of families, cultures, and backgrounds. Hauck has specialized in working with those who have experienced trauma, life changes, foster care/adoption, ASD, ADHD, OCD, anger, anxiety, and depression.
Kayla is an eclectic therapist who pulls ideas from different therapy models and is trained in EMDR, play-based therapy, CBT, parenting programs, and Exposure and Response Prevention. She feels therapy should be a collaborative effort to make sure it’s a safe space for you to explore your goals.
Kayla received her Bachelors of Social Work from Adrian College and her Master of Social Work from University of Michigan. Kayla resides in Belleville, Mich. with her husband, two boys, and a dog who also is a potato. She enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching reality TV.
