Join The Corner Health Center as we premiere the Three-Course Celebratory, where guests come to witness a live cooking competition; enjoy a complimentary meal; listen to good music; and experience the transformation that happens when young people (and their children) come to The Corner!

This premier fundraising event will kick off with a warm welcome from The Corner's Executive Director, Alex Plum, as an expression of gratitude for attendees’ support and partnership. Dan Huntsbarger, Owner of Moveable Feast, will serve as the Master of Ceremony (MC) and will guide guests through the live-cooking competition. Three expert, community chefs will be challenged to make a main course meal Chopped style – including a basket of ingredients and a time-limit. One chef will be crowned the winner by a panel of judges from the Washtenaw community. The winner will receive a special, paid invitation to lead cooking lessons for young people at The Corner Health Center, a $500 cash prize, and photo opportunity coupled with a plaque.

While the live cooking competition is the highlight of the fun, guests will not want to miss out on our mission moments, an opportunity for our guests to experience and understand the importance of our work at The Corner – both the successes and the opportunities. Guests will eat as well! We offer a three-course meal for them to enjoy. This is a new type of event for our community, and we do not want folks to miss out on the fun for a good cause!
