The Gesundheit Help & Healing Center in Sturgis, Michigan is a clinic made possible in collaboration with Sturgis Public Schools and Corner Health Center through a grant from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
For 9 years, Sturgis Public Schools has supported this clinic in order to provide affordable convenient care to children/adolescents in the community.
The Clinic provides physical wellness and mental health services for youth ages 3 to 21. Our hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4p closed for lunch between 12p-1p. We accept and bill all insurances.
We offer affordable care for things such as acute illnesses (ear infections, strep throat, covid, and influenza), sports injuries, well child/ sports physicals, and reproductive health. As well as mental health services.
Same day appointments are usually available.
Services are available to all eligible children and youth who reside locally or from surrounding towns.
Additional services provided include:
- Physical and emotional health assessments
- Management and support for chronic conditions
- Mental health counseling and crisis support
- Health education for students, families, and school staff
- Referrals and care coordination with outside providers
- Medicaid and insurance enrollment assistance
