What is a doula?

A doula is a trained professional who provides support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. The Corner Health Center offers optional doula services to our prenatal and Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP) families. Doula services are no cost to families. We hope to expand this program to provide doula services to the community after the pilot program has been successful.
