Prior to her work in Ypsilanti, Jones worked with the Neponset Health Center in Boston. Jones began her nursing career in 2007 as a Staff Nurse at the University of Michigan Medical Center, and continued as a Clinical Instructor at Wayne State University (2013-16). A nurse practitioner by trade, Jones already has her sights set on various goals in her new capacity.
"One of my biggest goals is finding out what our clinic staff's passions are, what their individual goals and future goals are and incorporating those into their role here at The Corner," Jones stated. "I also look forward to being involved in community outreach and having our clinic staff be involved in those events. I want that to be a big part of our clinic moving forward. Other goals include increasing productivity, serving more of our adolescent population, and continuing to spread awareness within our community about The Corner Health Center and our integrated health clinic."
